Solutions Fair

Conservation cannot succeed through experts alone.
Your support and the decisions you make about your day-to-day lives are critical for success.
At the Solutions Fair, part of #EarthOptimism Cambridge, will be a dynamic, interactive series of stands, activities and events for all ages, providing information about the choices everyone can make in their lives to take positive actions for the planet.

The Fair is divided into four zones: 'Going Wild'; 'Buying Smart'; 'Eating Well'; and 'Bright Ideas', along with a venue dedicated to pop-up speakers, storytelling and performance. The Fair will take place in and around the David Attenborough Building on Saturday 22 April, between 11:00-17:00.

Hands-on Solutions Fair: part of #EarthOptimism at the David Attenborough Building, Cambridge Conservation Initiative, 11.00-17.00, Saturday 22 April 2017

On Saturday 22 April visitors to the David Attenborough Building at the Cambridge Conservation Initiative in Cambridge will be able to take part in the hands-on #EarthOptimism Solutions Fair, where over 30 local, national and international organisations will be showcasing a variety of practical ways that people can make a real difference for the planet through their everyday lives. Visitors will leave the Solutions Fair empowered with the knowledge of the steps we can all take to make a difference to the world.

The Fair is divided into four themes, each of which addresses an aspect of daily life. Within each theme visitors will be able to take part in activities relating to that theme, ask questions, and pledge to make positive changes in their lives.

There is no advanced booking for the Solutions Fair: everyone is welcome, so please come along to immerse yourself in what promises to be an uplifting, inspirational and action-packed day.
