Mbunya Francis Nkemnyi

He is also a PhD student at the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
Building capacity for gorilla conservation in Cameroon
Conservation challenges persist because of insufficient incentives and capacity to initiate voluntary actions from local community members. In this talk Mbunya Francis Nkemnyi will draw on 10 years of field experience and research work, which suggest that success in conservation practice needs to be underpinned by sustainable research and expertise. Each year the Resource Centre for Environment and Sustainable Development helps build the expertise of at least four young professionals in research and policy actions for conservation.
